4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars 5,695 ratings

The Sisterhood: a group of women from all walks of life bound by friendship and a quest for justice. Armed with vast resources, top-notch expertise, and a loyal network of allies around the globe, the Sisterhood will not rest until every wrong is made right.

It’s been three months since Countess Annie de Silva slipped away from her home before dawn, leaving a cryptic note and no clue as to her destination. That’s an eternity for friends as devoted as the Sisterhood. Now they’re desperate to ensure that their founding member is alive and well, and that means tracking her down—wherever in the world she might be.

Myra Rutledge, Annie’s closest confidante, knows the secrets of Annie’s past, including the remote mountain in Spain where Annie spent some of the best—and worst—days of her life. Annie vowed that she’d never return to the mountain or the stunning monastery there. But the memories of the past have called her back. Now, she needs allies who are fearless, loyal, and willing to do whatever it takes to see justice done. And with the safety of one of their own on the line, the Sisterhood won’t let her down . . .

Cut and Run: Sisterhood Series Book 30 is by Fern Michaels. This book is again a hit for Michaels. It is easy to read and full of action and suspense. Unlike the other books in the series, the girls and boys are working together instead of apart. This makes for more interest this time. Cyrus, Jack’s dog is there to add a little bit of spice and a laugh or two to the story.
Annie de Silva is awakened one early morning with the feeling that something was just not right. She was finally going to call Myra and see if she knew anything when she got the phone call. This phone call was from Padre Diaz at the village at the base of the mountain she inherited when her husband died. He had a message from Father Mendoza asking her to return to the mountain. She had vowed never to return to that mountain; but this phone call meant she had to. She had to figure out what was going on.
The one thing she didn’t do before she left was to tell anyone where she was going or why. Her note to Fergus simply said she had something she had to do and would be gone for a while. Then she, her airplane, and its pilot disappeared.
Three months later, the girls are insisting Charles Martin let them do something. The boys agreed with them. Three months was too long for her not to have at least called. After discussing where they might go, Myra who had known Annie since they were babies, decided to go to the mountain and see if Annie was there. She insisted on going alone; but agreed to have Charles and the others follow her there in a few days. This was a good idea since as soon as Myra got out of the helicopter, she was met with a man with a gun. What had Annie and now Myra gotten into?

I don't know how Fern Michaels does it, but each novel of the "Sisterhood" series is just as exciting. Unfortunately, there are enough types of villans who find different ways to complicate the lives of others with the Seven Deadly Sins.

I enjoy the way the cast of characters expands. In this story, I liked the way that the money appeared, then immediately disappeared.

30th in the series with all the sisters and men ... even Snowden had his own scenes. It is fun and resolves some of the mysteries of Countess Annie with a return to the mountain. Had some credibility issues with the sisters not remembering where it was. It is fun to watch these vigilantes in action .... but they are nowhere near as organized or violent in their justice as the early stories were.

Different from most of her books I’ve read so far. So good I could barely put it down to sleep.

She who is kidnapped gets sweet revenge. This one takes place back in Spain where Annie swore she’d never return to. Readers get much more of Annie;s back story in this one—some of which is all new to Annie herself.

This was a very intense book. Lots going on and you never knew what was going to happen. But the good guys won out in the end and that's all that matters. Annie learned alot of painful info about her husband. On to the next adventure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ladies to admire

This is another fast-paced, totally captivating addition to the Sisterhood series. This time the intrepid ladies are off to rescue one of their own, Countess Annie de Silva. Annie left of her own free will, but hasn’t been heard from in months. The ladies are determined to track her down and offer their special brand of assistance. Woe be anyone who stands in their way! It is always fun to read a Sisterhood novel. The ladies’ take charge attitude, and highly unorthodox but very effective methods of achieving their goals evoke shock, awe and admiration. This book is one to keep and reread.

This is a great read with all the excitement and intrigue. Especially with the sisters & brothers working to get Annie & Myra back from their captors.
