High school sweethearts who have a chance meeting and drunken night in Vegas only to wake up married…is quite enough! There were so many avenues to pursue, storylines to craft, but then you add the fake dating trope! I’m over it! I was with you until then! Literally hadn’t put the book down! I’m definitely not a fan of the fake dating trope but I do like the close proximity trope, which Forest has weaved in too. All in all I read this book in one sitting and I enjoyed the character despite the trope. What I appreciate about Forest writing is her characters seem realistic and I love that. Kristina Forest is quickly becoming my favorite romance author.
