A stunning story filled with action, romance and a bit of mystery. J Kenner takes you on a journey of true love beating the odds. I loved the idea of Devlin and the descriptive writing that made him humanized. The battle between protecting his identity and the love he has for El! It was faced paced and held me captivated until the very end! A great read!

This is one of the few books by this author that I didn’t really enjoy. I just kept putting it down. This book does wrap up Ellie and Devlin’s story and there are no unanswered questions in the end, which is great. Also the main plot of Devlin and dealing with his past, that story is great. It’s all the extra stuff going on. Some of the extra stuff which makes it a little too over the top for my tastes could have been more streamlined. I found the dialogue, especially when Brandy was involved in the conversation to be very juvenile. The were sections of text and dialogue where you knew what the plan was, but then it would keep changing as if the author forgot what she just wrote. Also the story lead you to believe there would be a conversation/interaction. For example, not a spoiler, Delvin comments on Ronan arriving at Brandy’s and needs to give him the code, but then something else happens and we never find out why Ronan showed up. When ever Ronan is there, there is a purpose, so that lack of follow thru.

My Cruel Salvation Fallen Saint Series #3 J. Kenner ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ That was a series ending to end all series endings. One again Ms Kenner takes us on a thrilling ride right through the very end. Once again, I found myself saying “ I thought I had it all Sussed out, then boom, everything I thought I knew is wrong, and I’m going in another direction”. Devlin and Ellie have always had a complicated relationship, with secrets, and old lives there are constant surprises, some that aren’t good. But now that Devlin has his El, he intends to keep her in his life forever, but as his past makes its way to his future, it’s not without major hurdles…. These ones he may not be able to jump! Devlin wants to be the good man, he has his foundation, he helps those who need it most and he has beautiful Ellie…. He yearns for that easy love, easy life! But in Devlin’s life, he’s always watching his back, just waiting. As he removes the past one by one, this last one might be he permanent undoing! This will leave you gasping till the very end!
